Senior Project Manager

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team in Cambridge. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of a construction project, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy, working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor.
- Lead the subcontractor procurement process, ensuring timely appointments and effective communication.
- Conduct regular commercial reviews, analyzing budgetary aspects and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop tender project programs, construction methodologies, and logistical plans.
- Ensure all site management and operatives are adequately trained, identifying any training needs.
- Oversee administrative aspects, ensuring effective management and implementation.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, conveying high levels of professionalism and presentation.
- Compile an Information Release Schedule, identifying specific timescales for information release.
- Ensure daily safety briefing/coordination meetings with subcontractors take place.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with relevant H&S legislation, company policies, and individual role responsibilities.
- Ensure the Project H&S File, O&M's, and Building Manuals are produced and submitted in a timely manner.
- Confirm all specified quality standards are understood within the project team and supply chain.
