Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management & Project Leadership: Take charge of a personal case load and key projects, utilizing your expertise to resolve complex issues and manage business risks effectively.
  • HR Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of a comprehensive HR service line, including data management, provider management, legal compliance, and employee communications.
  • Customer-Centric HR Advice: Provide consistent, high-quality HR and Employee Relations (ER) advice, meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while fostering a customer-focused culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with HR leadership to align individual roles with the client's vision and strategy, ensuring compliance and relevance at all times.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct expert analysis, research, and provide actionable recommendations on HR solutions. Facilitate the creation of reports to monitor key success metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Align processes, policies, and practices with industry best practices and legal requirements. Challenge existing processes to drive improvement and support change initiatives.
  • External Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with external organizations to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • Standards & Teamwork: Uphold high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, while contributing as a collaborative team player.
Key Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level, with the ability to understand legal terminology and work confidently with numerical data.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and its practical application in industrial settings.
  • Extensive experience in industrial relations, including Trade Union engagement and working within large industrial sites.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft documents and agreements that meet legal standards.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, with the ability to leverage technology for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze complex pay and cost queries and develop effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
