Senior Java Solutions Architect

We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Senior Java Solutions Architect to become an integral part of our vibrant team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the design and development of robust, scalable software solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. Your extensive knowledge in Java, along with frameworks such as JBoss Seam and build tools like Gradle/Ant, will be essential in crafting effective solutions to complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the development team in the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of Java-centric applications utilizing the JBoss Seam framework.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.
- Design scalable and high-performance software solutions that comply with industry best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and compliance with coding conventions.
- Participate actively in the complete software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the Java ecosystem and recommend new technologies for integration when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a Lead Developer or equivalent position, with a solid foundation in Java development.
- Expertise in the JBoss Seam framework and a proven track record in developing web applications using this technology.
- Strong familiarity with build automation tools such as Gradle and Ant.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to excel in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Java programming certification or related qualifications is advantageous.
