About the Role:
Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Sales Operation Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the direct business in both Germany and the UK (split 50/50).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Territory Sales Manager to understand customer needs and develop sales strategies.
- Partner with TSM and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) teams to overcome obstacles and secure new business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects in the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold-calling, lead follow-up, and outbound communications.
- Expand the database of prospects within the territory.
- Work with TSMs to develop a strong sales pipeline and close deals.
- Drive profitable sales growth to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Occasionally conduct online product demonstrations as required.
- Regularly use and update the CRM platform (MS 365) to manage territory information.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, programs, and relevant legal requirements.
- Maintain a professional, ethical approach to all responsibilities.
- Exhibit a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with strong business acumen and a focus on driving sales growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English – ESSENTIAL. Fluent in German – HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Bachelor's Degree in business management, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Experience in the food & beverage or life sciences market is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Desirable Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in sales negotiation.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is advantageous.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong phone presence with experience in high-volume calling.
- Experience using Dynamic CRM.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptability to changing environments.
Remuneration:
Up to £34k + 10% uncapped commission plan
