Financial Controller

Job Summary

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a qualified accountant with experience in a similar role within an SME business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring effective cash flow management.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a similar role within an SME business.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
