You will play a crucial role in facilitating the execution of financial transactions and processes within the Finance department at the logistics center, aligning with the strategic goals and ensuring robust financial governance. Your focus will be on maintaining precise financial records to aid in informed business decision-making, prioritizing customer-centric approaches in all aspects of your responsibilities, and enhancing operational efficiency by streamlining tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities to departmental managers, enabling timely responses.
  • Exhibit a strong customer orientation in daily activities.
  • Engage in projects aimed at leveraging expertise to enhance business processes and operational procedures.
  • Build and sustain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to effectively address their needs.
  • Collaborate with managers to comprehend requirements and pinpoint opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare budgets for essential financial metrics, ensuring thorough understanding, analysis, and communication.
  • Uphold financial governance, adhere to corporate accounting policies, and operate within established risk parameters.
  • Stay informed about the operational environment and the implications of any changes.
  • Provide variance analysis and trend assessments to evaluate performance against budgets, forecasts, and business cases.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on service excellence and cost efficiency. Propose and implement your own improvement initiatives.
  • Generate periodic forecasts to assist managers in understanding current financial trends.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with macros is advantageous but not mandatory.
