Role Overview

Group Audit (GA) is on the lookout for Audit professionals at the Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Audit Manager and Vice President (VP) - Senior Manager levels. The primary focus will be on driving audit execution and validating regulatory remediation across designated business and functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regulatory remediation validation, ensuring alignment with the established approach; identify critical risks, document process flows and key controls, assess the design and operational effectiveness of controls, and report findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality validation memos for management review, facilitate issue tracking, and confirm the resolution of findings.
  • Collaborate with global audit teams to ensure thorough audit validation and regulatory remediation.
  • Proactively cultivate and maintain professional relationships; communicate transparently with management and internal stakeholders, keeping them updated on potential issues and promptly escalating problems or delays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge and experience in Internal Audit, preferably within the Financial Services sector, particularly in Investment Banking products.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the operational requirements and regulatory landscape of a Global Bank; experience in addressing Market Conduct Remediation-related risks and controls is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of auditing standards and concepts, including design assessment, audit testing/sampling, and operational effectiveness testing.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills and the ability to foster strong business and team relationships; proven capability to communicate effectively at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong project management and planning abilities; financial acumen and an analytical mindset.
