As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the accommodation office, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the accommodation office team, ensuring effective management of departmental workload and staff resources.
  • Facilitate and coordinate quality requirements to ensure customer standards are met, performing validation and quality inspections as needed.
  • Liaise with the Production Manager to address training and development needs within the team, ensuring accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
  • Promote high standards of housekeeping and a culture of 5S in the workplace, operating machines and setting tooling as needed.
  • Undertake low-level machine setting, consumable tool replacement, machine maintenance, and TPM activities, working with the team to maximise machine utilisation and reduce scrap and cycle time.
  • Co-ordinate team support activities, including materials, purchasing, maintenance, and housekeeping, collaborating with production management to prioritise production needs and achieve team targets.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Shift Supervisor, assisting in resolving people management issues and supporting team attendance and labour utilisation reporting.
  • Maintain hourly output sheets and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted on time.

Requirements:

  • Literate and numerate, with a good command of written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to use relevant software and systems.

Working Hours:

  • Weekend Nights Shift (34 hours per week)
  • Friday 8pm-6am, Saturday 6pm-6am, Sunday 6pm-6am

Salary and Benefits:

  • £23,983pa + £2,000 (T/L allowance)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme called Medicash
  • Employees are entitled to an attendance bonus of £1000pa
