Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated individual to become a part of our compassionate renal administration team. This role is ideal for those with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow within the healthcare sector, regardless of prior experience in renal services.

While specific knowledge in renal care is not required, a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are crucial. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you gain a thorough understanding of our renal services and can thrive in your role.

Our renal department is committed to delivering exceptional kidney care across Devon, emphasizing the prevention of kidney disease and the provision of haemodialysis. We operate multiple units throughout the region, where patients receive essential dialysis treatment multiple times a week, which is vital for maintaining their health and quality of life.

Role Responsibilities

The Administrative Coordinator will manage various consultant and administrative duties. This is a non-clinical position, meaning you will not be directly involved in patient care or dialysis procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling patient treatments in compliance with NHS standards.
  • Utilizing the EPIC patient management system for efficient operations.
  • Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Maintaining high standards of typing, email correspondence, and proofreading.

Support will be provided until you achieve proficiency in your tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience in handling patient inquiries over the phone. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you will be part of a dynamic team that values initiative and collaboration.

Our team consists of dedicated individuals who prioritize patient care, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
