Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Renal Dietetic Support Worker to join our Renal Nutrition and Dietetic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the renal dietetic team in providing a high-quality service to renal inpatients and outpatients.
  • Work closely with the renal inpatient ward team to review patients' nutritional intake and develop personalized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed, within established protocols and scope of practice.
  • Refer patients who fall outside of your scope of practice or are deteriorating to the registered dietitian for further support.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, including office organization and preparing agendas and notes for team meetings.

Person Specification
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Qualifications to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Previous healthcare experience or experience in a food-related environment.

  • Enthusiasm, organization, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
