Automation Systems Engineer Required for Subsea Equipment Initiative

A prominent organization in the subsea equipment industry is seeking a proficient and seasoned automation systems engineer for a contractual role.

The ideal candidate will take charge of developing SCADA/HMI solutions, programming PLCs (Siemens / Rockwell), and collaborating with CPTs and ROVs, while possessing a solid background in machinery management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

  • In-depth understanding of industrial control systems design principles
  • BOSIET Offshore certification
Key Responsibilities:
  • PLC Programming - Siemens / Rockwell
  • Support for manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Client assistance both onsite and remotely (occasional travel preferred)
  • Creation of technical documentation to support equipment (including specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc.)
  • Experience level that allows for independent project work without direct supervision
Compensation:

Rate: £50 per hour - OUTSIDE IR35
