About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Coordinator to join our team at Hertfordshire Mind Network. As a key member of our Herts Haven Cafe service, you will play a vital role in providing drop-in mental health support to children and young people aged 10-18.

Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a safe and welcoming space for young people to access timely support, guidance, and referrals. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality mental health services, ensuring that every individual receives safe and trusted support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver quality mental health support services for children and young people.
  • Provide consistent and clear communication to the team, working proactively and with initiative.
  • Deliver 1:1 and group interventions, depending on need, flexibly and creatively.
  • Ensure that every individual accessing the service receives safe and trusted support.
  • Recognize indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitate appropriate action, while liaising with relevant agencies.
What We Offer
  • Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year pro rata, rising in increments to a max. of 29 days pro rata after 5 years employment.
  • An additional day of leave each year for your birthday following completion of probation period.
