Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans for individual students.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group instruction, addressing specific learning needs and challenges.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and teachers.
  • Contribute to the overall school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience working with students who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Qualifications

  • Good general level of education to include Maths and English GCSE grade C or above, or further relevant experience in the absence of formal qualifications.
  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
  • DCFS Induction (Level 2) or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant (available September 2002) or equivalent.
