Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist

Join Princes Limited, a leading food and drink manufacturer, as a Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team, driving excellence in supplier management and product compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the Vendor Assurance team in ensuring the quality and compliance of our suppliers. As a Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist, you will be responsible for managing product specifications, KPI reports, and vendor assurance technical administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day product specifications and associated systems
  • Be the main point of contact for product specifications communications
  • Act as super user for Hamilton Grant and QADEX product and vendor assurance IT systems
  • Review and manage KPI reports linked to Princes suppliers and sourced products
  • Support the Vendor Assurance team and Technical Controller in supplier management and product compliance
  • Participate in supplier audits and customer audits as required
  • Manage Princes suppliers ensuring compliance to Princes and customer policies and procedures
  • Track and trend supplier performance and QMS management
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in a food or related discipline or equivalent work-related experience
  • Experience of working with suppliers and creating product specifications
  • Formal qualification in HACCP and legal labelling
  • Experience of working within food manufacturing and with retail customers
  • Computer literate, including Hamilton Grant and QADEX
  • Analysis and interpretation skills, communication and relationship building skills
