Position Overview

Become a vital part of a dynamic Financial Services Team as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

We are in search of a skilled and meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our client's expanding Financial Services division. The ideal candidate will exhibit remarkable attention to detail and possess extensive experience in the Quality Assurance field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide QA support within developer workflows
  • Create and execute QA testing procedures
  • Access databases to monitor processes from start to finish
  • Conduct quality assurance evaluations on products and services
  • Formulate testing strategies for new or revised software applications
  • Detect issues, bugs, and defects that may occur during the product development lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have:

  • A solid comprehension of how developers implement systems
  • Quality assurance or software testing certification from a recognized institution, such as ISTQB
  • A degree in a relevant field, preferably in Computer Science or IT
  • Strong manual testing experience, as this will be more significant than automation in this role

Required Skills:

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate expertise in:

  • Automated Testing
  • Functional Testing and Smoke Testing
  • SQL Querying capabilities
  • Exposure to API, Microservices, and Web Services applications

Compensation: Salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
