CFO Support Worker RoleAs part of our Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) program delivered across the East of England and Southeast of England, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as CFO Support Workers. In this impactful role, you will manage a caseload of participants in both custodial and community settings, providing high-quality support and guidance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting participants in overcoming barriers to successful resettlement
- Helping them achieve agreed milestones
- Facilitating skill development
- Supporting their pursuit of sustainable employment
This position requires working across various locations, including HMP Chelmsford and community hubs in Basildon.
Essential Qualifications & SkillsWe are looking for individuals who possess:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and motivational techniques, to effectively support participants from diverse backgrounds
- A genuine commitment to the rehabilitation of prisoners and the ability to work independently, providing community-based support
- Awareness, understanding, and dedication to the protection and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults
- The ability to successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service Check at an enhanced level and prison vetting procedures
