Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide hands-on assistance with personal care tasks such as washing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while respecting the client's dignity and privacy.
- Meal Preparation: Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and taking into consideration their dietary preferences, restrictions, and nutritional needs.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take their medications as prescribed and assist with medication management as needed.
- Companionship: Foster meaningful companionship with clients by engaging in conversation, participating in leisure activities, and providing emotional support and encouragement.
- Household Support: Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, changing bedding, and organizing belongings.
- Transportation: Provide transportation assistance to clients for errands, appointments, and social engagements.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
