Role Overview
As an integral member of the Commercial Finance division, you will deliver exceptional financial support to the customer team, ensuring the timely provision of relevant information, insightful analysis, and effectively guiding decision-making processes.
At Warburtons, our Commercial Finance team is committed to providing thorough commercial analysis to our business units, ensuring we maximize value from every expenditure.

Key Responsibilities
You will enhance the decision-making capabilities of the Commercial team through high-quality analysis, insights, and recommendations, including:
- Evaluating customer terms proposals.
- Reviewing promotional performance.
- Ensuring adherence to the company's control framework, particularly regarding customer terms, promotions, and commercial investment policies.
- Validating the accuracy of reported revenue and profitability figures, including regular assessments of accrual rates for the supported customers.
- Building strong relationships with the Commercial team to drive improved revenue and profitability through proactive engagement and constructive challenge.
Additionally, you will serve as the finance lead for the company's revenue budgeting and forecasting processes, which includes:
- Supporting volume budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with the sales team's commitments.
- Coordinating the preparation of precise revenue budgets and forecasts.
- Providing summary reports for actuals to be included in the Business Update documentation.
- Promoting enhancements in financial processes and reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Post-qualification experience, with a focus on commercial finance, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) context.
- Relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent, along with evidence of continuing professional development.
- Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting data clearly and effectively communicating insights to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills: influential, persuasive, and articulate.
- Proven relationship-building skills, capable of influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
