The Family Support Services division of Sheffield City Council is on the lookout for dedicated individuals to take on the Lead Practitioner role. This position is pivotal in enhancing frontline service delivery and managing family caseloads while advocating for comprehensive family-centered methodologies. Lead Practitioners will be instrumental in promoting effective family meetings and working in partnership with families to achieve better results for children. Candidates should be proficient in utilizing digital tools for documentation and enhancing direct engagement. Each team within the division will benefit from a Lead Practitioner to support team leaders and develop the capabilities of team members. Certain Lead Practitioner roles may focus on Early Years or provide support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
