We are seeking a skilled Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our team at Speedy Hire Plc. As a Lifting Equipment Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lifting equipment, including inspection, testing, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to identify any defects or issues
  • Perform load testing and pull testing to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
  • Carry out destructive testing as required
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements:
  • Experience working in the lifting equipment industry
  • LEEA certification
  • Entry-level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in a testing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
