Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at W P Recruitment & HR Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned installations and maintenance, as well as responsive repairs to domestic properties.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years electrical experience, preferably within a domestic maintenance environment, and hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) electrical qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake planned installations and maintenance, including electrical installation condition reports, emergency lighting tests, fire alarm tests, and electrical certifications.
  • Compile quotations for remedial works and liaise with clients, customer services teams, and other trades.
  • Update and maintain property records, adhering to quality standards, building regulations, and health & safety.
  • Fault finding, diagnostics, and identification of materials.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years electrical experience, preferably within a domestic maintenance environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) electrical qualifications.
  • 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications an advantage.
  • Full driving license.
  • Ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
