Enterprise Data Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our client's team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the digital transformation team, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of data services, as well as developing innovative data solutions to meet the technical business needs and wider adoption of data analytics.

The successful candidate will have excellent future thinking capability, and a thought leader who has good knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms and is comfortable working with the business to improve data quality. You will act as a key enabler in the digital transformation of our client's organisation, working closely with the CTO Management Teams and key stakeholders involved in forming and delivering the digital, data and integration technologies strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and design of data services
  • Develop innovative data solutions to meet technical business needs
  • Work closely with the CTO Management Teams and key stakeholders
  • Improve data quality and ensure data governance
Requirements:
  • Recognised as a top level expert with significant in depth and/or breadth of expertise in the data domain
  • Demonstrable experience with cloud based data and integration platform capabilities
  • Capable of applying architectural principles to solutions
  • Experience of data analytics, data integration technologies, and using data visualisation
  • Proven track record of success in large scale IT organisations and transformation projects
