Job Description

Job Title: Digital Commercial Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Commercial Editor to join our team at Life Sciences Recruitment Ltd. As a Digital Commercial Editor, you will be responsible for commissioning and curating high-quality content across various multimedia platforms, developing new content products, and driving subscriber growth, reader engagement, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Content to shape and execute the content strategy for one of our client's life science brands.
  • Oversee content creation and delivery across all channels, including website, email, print, video, podcast, and webinars, tailored to the target audience.
  • Conduct research, write, and/or commission articles and features from industry experts through interviews, calls, and emails to grow and develop the brand.
  • Work closely with the Head of Content to define the brand's strategic direction, including setting KPIs and overall brand vision.
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the content remains relevant and engaging.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a B2B multimedia content environment with demonstrated commercial acumen.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, drug discovery, life science, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
