We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Pensions Consultant to join our team at Eden Scott. As a key member of our pension advisory team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on their defined benefit pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with defined benefit pension schemes, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance to ensure the successful implementation of pension schemes.
  • Liaise with Trustees, Actuaries, and external parties to deliver exceptional client service and exceed expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver business growth and expansion, identifying new opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in defined benefit pensions, with a strong technical understanding of pension scheme rules and current legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify new opportunities and develop strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
