About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PR Manager to join our team at Universal Music Group. As a key member of our Public Relations department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the public image of our artists and driving their careers forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute PR Strategies: Work closely with the Head of PR to create and implement effective PR campaigns for our artists, leveraging traditional and digital media channels to maximize exposure and engagement.
  2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with PR titles, artists' publicists, and other industry professionals to secure media opportunities and promote our artists' work.
  3. Coordinate Media Outreach: Liaise with artists, management, and internal teams to coordinate media appearances, interviews, and other promotional activities.
  4. Monitor and Analyze Results: Track the success of PR campaigns and provide regular updates to the Head of PR, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting new strategies to enhance our artists' public image.
Requirements
  1. PR Experience in the Music Industry: A proven track record of success in PR management within the music industry, with experience working with labels or external PR companies.
  2. Excellent Communication and Relationship Building Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  3. Organizational and Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
