Purpose of the RoleAs a Procurement Specialist, you will be instrumental in facilitating effective and sustainable supply chain management, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the timely provision of materials in the appropriate quantity and quality, delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Your contributions will assist us in fulfilling our financial commitments, enhancing our operations, and establishing our reputation as a top-tier provider of KBB furniture.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key supply partners to secure optimal trading conditions, aligning with profitability and sustainability objectives.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Assess and enhance supplier performance on a quarterly basis to achieve our OTIF and OTIF-Q goals.
- Demand Analysis: Collect demand insights monthly to formulate a dependable supply forecast for our strategic supply partners.
- Order Management: Issue and oversee purchase orders daily, ensuring inventory is managed within specified parameters.
- Data Analysis: Supply data to group sourcing monthly to track pricing trends and develop synergies and trading conditions across all business units.
- Product Oversight: Actively engage in the PIPO process to keep our product offerings contemporary and aligned with market trends without compromising service and financial performance.
- Operational Enhancement: Collaborate across departments to challenge and refine business operations.
- System Management: Accurately maintain ERP and group sourcing systems for reliable information reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related discipline.
- Strong skills in relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and forecasting capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP and supply chain management software.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.
- CIPS Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
