Procurement Specialist

A dynamic and growing organisation is seeking a Procurement Lead to join their team. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to identify potential supplier sources and conduct interviews with potential vendors.
- Monitor purchases and spending to ensure adherence to budget guidelines, cost-efficiency, and high-quality standards.
- Work with commercial and warehouse teams to optimise stock levels, taking into account warehouse space, customer demand, and stock value.
- Ensure on-time and complete deliveries from suppliers, and provide delivery status updates to the Planning and Customer Service teams.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance performance and drive business results.
- Previous experience within a procurement or buyer role.
- Ability to resolve incoming goods quality anomalies with the warehouse and quality teams.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
