Main Responsibilities
  • Execute hands-on planned and unplanned maintenance activities to agreed standards, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
  • Ensure assets are ready to produce products that meet the highest quality standards, dispatched on time and in full to our customers.
  • Develop and implement a robust and clearly communicated safe system of work for all activities, properly risk assessed.
  • Coach, train, and mentor production colleagues to achieve continual improvements in equipment knowledge and performance.
  • Act with integrity and professionalism to build a culture of continuous improvement and equipment-focused excellence.
Requirements
  • Technical hands-on engineering experience, preferably through a recognized time-served apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical qualifications and competence in BTEC Engineering certificate or equivalent.
  • Broad knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and PLC/inverter assets.
  • Experience of risk assessing maintenance activity and controlling safe working regulations.
