We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team at The People's Pension. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line analysis, challenge, and insight of the risk profile and key enterprise risks arising within our organization.

You will support the Head of Risk Advisory in ensuring adherence to the risk framework, monitoring of associated risk appetites across the group, and the management of the Operational Resilience programme.

As part of this role, you will be expected to monitor internal and external information sources to assist in providing insights to internal risk identification and assessments.

You will lead on the analysis of risk, control, and incident data and in reporting to governance forums, as well as designing and delivering a regular program of thematic work by the risk function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the delivery of the risk function's business plan.
  • Assist with the collation of the required risk management information to monitor KRI's, performance, and exposure of risks across the business.
  • Assist with the risk and controls assessment programme.
  • Assist the Risk Manager and risk department with other tasks as may be required from time to time.
  • Support the timely review of all key internal policies.
  • Support the timely review of system permission checks.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience within a risk function and solid understanding of risk management framework/processes.
  • Ability to challenge business stakeholders and counterparts objectively and effectively.
  • Ability to analyse complex business and risk issues/situations.

We are looking for a credible and experienced Risk Manager who can demonstrate flexibility and resilience, as well as the ability to find innovative solutions and adapt to changing situations.

You will be able to understand, interpret, apply, and communicate complex information, and have a good knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
