About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Learning Through Landscapes. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our charity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the accounts team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organization's finances.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize interest receivable and minimize costs.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Manage the charity's funds to ensure compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Business Services & HR Manager to ensure effective financial planning and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trustees, donors, and funders.
  • Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and best practices to ensure the charity remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or AAT level 4 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
