Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide personal assistance and support for a Deafblind person, focusing on effective communication and social engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication using British Sign Language (BSL) during outings and events.
- Assist in attending social gatherings and family events in various locations.
- Support with errands and shopping activities.

Working Hours:
Flexible hours to be discussed.

Compensation:
£25 per hour, based on experience.

Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications or equivalent experience at Level 2 in Communicating and Guiding.
- Fluency in British Sign Language (BSL).
- Respect for privacy and confidentiality.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good hygiene and organizational skills.
- Physical fitness to perform required duties.
- Patience and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Honesty and a positive demeanor.
- Creativity in problem-solving.
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English.
- Commitment to high standards of health and safety.
- Willingness to establish self-employment for this role.
