About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Construction Project Manager to join our team on a commercial project in Central London. As a Mechanical Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the mechanical construction activities of the project from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the mechanical construction activities of the project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring they meet project schedules and quality standards.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance and resolve any conflicts or issues.
  • Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and control project progress, budgets, and resources, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical construction project management, preferably in a Tier 2 contractor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical construction processes, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors.
  • Ability to review and interpret technical documents, including mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks or delays.
