Ecologist Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist Consultant to join our team at Norfolk Wildlife Services. As a professional and dedicated team, we offer a unique opportunity to advance your career in consultancy or change careers while ensuring protection and benefits for nature and wildlife.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct protected species surveys and assessments, including bats, great crested newts, water voles, reptiles, and Schedule 1 birds.
  • Develop and implement ecological field survey work, including report writing and management plans.
  • Collaborate with a range of clients on different projects, ensuring effective communication and delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive conservation efforts forward.
Requirements:
  • Experience in ecological field survey work and report writing.
  • Strong understanding of protected species and conservation principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
