Job Overview

ADM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Driver to join our team at the Avonmouth site. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving and operating an LGV vehicle in accordance with Department of Transport regulations, EU drivers' hours rules, and company safety and health requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate the LGV vehicle safely and efficiently, performing daily vehicle safety checks and adhering to company operating procedures.
  • Unload and deliver flour sacks from LGV's to customers' premises, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Discharge bulk flour in accordance with company operating procedures.
  • Assist in training and development of colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and office staff, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Clean vehicles at specified intervals, maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently, including vehicle defect procedures, working time, deliveries, and safety observation reports.

Your Profile

  • Hold a valid LGV licence for the vehicle driven.
  • Have experience in manual handling work and customer relations.
  • Be knowledgeable about flour products and food hygiene.
  • Possess a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
  • Have strong numeracy and literacy skills, as well as good communication skills.
