Overview:
Novax Recruitment is currently in search of a dedicated Compensation and Benefits Specialist. This role involves managing payroll operations with potential for contract extension, ensuring full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Payroll Management:**
- Administer payroll data, including variable deductions, new employee onboarding, changes in employment status, and terminations.
- Oversee Salary Sacrifice Schemes, mileage reimbursements, and overtime claims to ensure timely monthly payroll processing.
2. **Compliance and Reporting:**
- Ensure payroll data processing adheres to statutory regulations, meeting both monthly and annual deadlines.
- Generate and distribute necessary tax documentation, such as P45 and P60 forms, in compliance with HMRC standards.
3. **Overpayment Handling:**
- Manage overpayment situations, including the issuance of invoices for former employees and coordination with the credit control team as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a payroll environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll and pensions legislation, including statutory payments and deductions.
- Proficient administrative skills with the capability to interpret and apply payroll regulations effectively.
