Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Finance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Financial Controller and assisting with various finance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile purchase and sales ledger duties, including processing expenses and credit card transactions.
  • Manage purchase orders, cash book entries, and general administration duties.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and respond to auditor queries.
Requirements
  • AAT part-qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in accounts.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
  • Well-organized, prioritizing, and working within key deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work thoroughly, methodically, with an excellent attention to detail.
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours per week over 3-5 days. A car driver is preferred, and the role is based in Tadworth.

The hourly rate is £14.25, and we offer a pension scheme.
