About the Role

Talent is partnering with a client to find a skilled Network Architect to join their well-established team in the defence sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and configuring secure, complex network solutions across large-scale programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of network design and configuration, providing technical leadership and hands-on support where necessary.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of network solutions, from initial design to handover.
  • Document and review network architectures, ensuring they meet project requirements and pass governance reviews.
About You
  • Solid experience in network engineering, with recent roles focused on architecture or design.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cisco and Juniper products, WAN routing (MPLS, BGP, ISIS), and LAN switching.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Prior work within secure or defence environments is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel and be stakeholder-facing.
