Logistics Operations Supervisor

Join the vibrant team at HARIBO as a Logistics Operations Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role in our distribution operations.

The Logistics team is essential for the seamless execution of our business processes. This position offers the chance to collaborate with the logistics team to guarantee that our products are delivered to the highest standards while adhering to Health and Safety, Quality, and Hygiene regulations consistently.

Working Hours:

Rotating Shifts – 40 hours per week

Week 1: 5:55 AM – 1:55 PM

Week 2: 1:55 PM – 9:55 PM

Your Responsibilities Include:

Performance Management: Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and weekly production and packing objectives. Responsibilities will encompass:

Ensuring all tasks align with HARIBO's Safe Operating Procedures (SOP)Operating all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in accordance with trainingManaging waste streams to ensure complianceCompleting all logistics checks as per the required schedule and maintaining thorough documentationPlanning and tracking all targets using relevant systemsMonitoring product quality throughout the process to ensure it meets the required standards before dispatchAddressing and reporting any downtime issues with support from the Engineering team

Self-Management and Training: Engage in activities that include:

Taking personal responsibility for your own growth and development, continuously learning to set a positive exampleDriving initiatives for continuous improvementActively participating in organizational projectsInspiring colleagues and demonstrating exemplary behaviorParticipating in company-wide discussions on an annual basisMonitoring and training new operators in accordance with company SOPs

Effective Communication: Regularly share information with others and provide support to ensure the successful achievement of team goals. This includes:

Coordinating with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth operationsPreparing and delivering effective handovers to incoming shiftsCollaborating with supervisors and managers across departments to maintain operational efficiencyPromoting and exemplifying HARIBO's core valuesIdentifying and communicating relevant information to other departmentsMonitoring and managing team performance to ensure adherence to specifications and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes is crucialSupervisory experience is preferredPrior experience operating MHE is necessaryUnderstanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standardsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a teamCapacity to perform under pressure
