Job Description- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Jack Wills brand identity and its position within the market.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of fabrics and design capabilities across various supply chains.
- Ability to design for diverse product categories, including wovens, jersey, knitwear, and denim.
- Design and develop innovative ranges with a focus on brand elevation and meticulous attention to detail.
- Confidently present research findings and proposed ranges to the wider team and management in a clear and engaging manner.
- Collaborate effectively with suppliers and oversee the development process, ensuring that ranges are produced to the highest standards. This includes reviewing technical specifications (CPs) and managing timelines diligently.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives within an established design and buying team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a design role within the fashion industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to design trend-driven, commercially viable, and conceptual ranges.
- Skill in creating clear and detailed technical specifications (tech packs).
- Experience communicating with factories and managing ranges from initial design through production, ensuring high-quality execution within established timelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
- Experience in knitwear design is highly desirable.
- Dynamic, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A positive attitude towards tasks and new challenges.
