The Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, supporting Adults aged 18 years and above. Our team members are diverse, and we cater to individuals with varying mobility, verbal, and non-verbal communication needs. We provide a wide range of support, including assistance with personal care, accessing the community, and participating in everyday living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with various health conditions, such as autism, learning disabilities, mental health, dementia, and continence issues.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in outdoor activities, shopping, dining out, and group activities.
  • Respect and promote the individual's autonomy, dignity, and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, friendly, and safe home environment.
Requirements
  • A strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Patience, empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to others.
  • A problem-solving approach and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • UK driving license (for use of our vehicle).
