Job Overview

Gleeson Homes is seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with the Regional Managing Director and other senior management to provide financial leadership and support for operational teams in the Region.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in commercial or business partnering roles. They will be an excellent communicator, able to present complex financial information to operational teams in a simple, clear, and concise manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, ensuring integrity in financial reporting and written reports.

The Regional Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing financial leadership, insight, and support for operational teams in the Region. They will work closely with the Central Finance team to ensure that financial performance is appropriately communicated across the Region and provide analysis and understanding around both financial and non-financial KPIs in order to help the Region achieve its growth targets.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, able to support change and drive targets to facilitate the successful growth of the Region. They will have a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership and support for operational teams in the Region
  • Work closely with the Regional Managing Director and other senior management to drive financial performance and growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders
  • Provide analysis and understanding around both financial and non-financial KPIs
  • Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts for the Region

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with ideally 2-3 years post qualified experience
  • Previous experience in a finance role with commercial or business partnering exposure
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to develop strong relationships with key operational stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, ensuring integrity in financial reporting and written reports
  • Strong IT user able to deal effectively with a high volume of data
