About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for the lift and elevator industry to join our growing organisation as a Trainee Lift Engineer. As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will be trained by our experienced Lift Engineers and Technical Department to learn and understand the company and requirements of our industry.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps, and walkways
- Work under the supervision of experienced Lift Engineers to gain hands-on experience and knowledge
- Participate in the NVQ level 3 course within either the Installation or Maintenance of Lifts
- Develop and learn new skills to become an independent Lift Engineer
- Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through Education or through recent work experience
- Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations, or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to follow instructions and ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills
