We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Respiratory and Acute Medicine to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist care to patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and develop innovative ways of working to sustain increasing patient load.
- Contribute to the Respiratory and Acute Medicine on-call rota and perform bronchoscopies and pleural procedures as required.
- Take an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and participate in research within the department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals and objectives.
