Senior Audit Manager Role Overview

Reed accountancy is pleased to announce a senior audit manager position at a top 20 accountancy practice based in Letchworth Garden City. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within an accountancy practice and be able to manage a team of seniors and juniors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver audit and assurance services to a diverse range of clients
  • Manage a team of 6, including two seniors, two semi-seniors, and two juniors
  • Report to the Head of Audit, who will have overall responsibility
  • Have prior experience in management and be a certified RI (Responsible Individual)
  • Annual salary of up to £75,000
Working Arrangements:
  • 37.5 hours per week with flexible working policy
  • No core hours or official start/finish time
  • Attire dependent on the day
Personal Specification:
  • Strategic and operational management experience
  • Ability to review existing systems and make improvements
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • MUST be ACA/ACCA fully qualified
  • Self-motivated and hungry to progress
  • MUST have previous audit experience at managerial level
  • Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and audit matters (UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISA's)
  • Extensive supervisory experience
