Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Receptionist to join our team in Edinburgh. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, you will provide exceptional customer service while managing the reception area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff with a warm and friendly attitude
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Handle general inquiries, providing accurate information about the company and its services
  • Coordinate and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and available as required
  • Support in Marketing and events
  • Maintain visitor logs and manage security protocols, issuing visitor badges and ensuring compliance with safety procedures
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including sorting mail, managing deliveries, and maintaining office supplies
  • Support internal teams with ad-hoc tasks and administrative duties as required
  • Manage the flow of foot traffic, ensuring a smooth experience for visitors and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a front-of-house role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
