Our client, a successful manufacturing organisation in Leicestershire, is seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant to join their Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role:
  • Process end-to-end payroll using Bright Pay software (training provided).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Handle PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions.
  • Prepare payroll tax returns and generate payroll reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll tasks.
  • Support with Balance Sheet Reconciliations and TB.
  • Perform simple management accounts duties.
  • Assist with HR Admin duties.
  • Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks.
About You:
  • Experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll practices and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Studying AAT (preferably).
Benefits:
  • Appointment Type: Permanent.
  • Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (subject to experience).
  • Hours: Full-Time (in-house).
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme.
  • On-site parking.
