Our client is in search of a dedicated and skilled Lead Parts Consultant to enhance their operations. This role involves supervising a small team, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of parts operations.
Applicants should possess prior experience as a Parts Consultant, particularly those with a background in Parts and Service Advisory roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and nurture a small team of Parts Consultants, offering training, guidance, and support.
- Efficiently handle parts orders and inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage parts stock.
- Utilize DMS systems (Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar) for accurate management of parts data and processes.
- Collaborate with the After Sales Manager to meet departmental objectives.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the team.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in an Automotive Parts department.
- Demonstrated experience with DMS systems (Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar).
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Valid UK driving license.
