About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our objectives in providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating value for money.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of contracts to release savings, add value, and obtain maximum benefits from goods and services.
- Work closely with Clinical and Corporate Services to support the delivery of our objectives.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Education to degree level.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (MCIPS) or currently studying.
