Hickton Quality Control, the UK's largest provider of Clerk of Works services, is seeking an ambitious and organized individual to manage client enquiries and potential opportunities from inception to contract renewal strategy stage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a bid library of high-quality documents, including company project experience credentials, formatted CVs, capability statements, and bespoke qualitative information tailored to deliver each client's specific requirements.
We pride ourselves on winning bids based on the quality of our service, and your role will involve ensuring that all Group proposals are fully executed, from start to finish, in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and contributing to the preparation and submission of Group DPS's, PQQ's, tenders, capability studies, and associated documents.
- Preparing and submitting proposals and budgets in cooperation with internal team members.
- Handling timely submission of applications, ensuring quality assurance processes are adhered to.
- Coordinating tenders through the full bid lifecycle, from Bid/No-Bid through to customer negotiation and Contract Award.
- Maintaining customer/client contact to discuss their needs and any issues, as well as attending necessary meetings.
- Responding to all tender and framework agreement enquiries, including customer issue escalation and resolution as required.
- Working with a variety of bid team members to collate, coordinate, and review responses, ensuring timely completion and full compliance with tender requirements.
- Collating the input of team contributions to create a coherent and well-structured final tender.
- Ensuring the proposal is consistent in style, language, and approach, in line with company requirements.
- Producing presentations in relation to proposals and associated meetings and interviews.
- Working to continuously improve all aspects of the work-winning process, including pre-qualifications, bids, and presentation materials.
- Responsible for transferring knowledge from the tendering team to the resource team, verifying the tender, and achieving scope stability and a robust handover.
- Supporting and contributing to the development of the central information library, including corporate CVs.
- Supporting the development of relationships with new and existing clients.
