We are seeking an experienced SENCO to lead and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs in a 'Good' school in Croydon. The successful candidate will have a passion for ensuring that every young person receives the care and education they deserve.
### Key Responsibilities
* Lead the SEN teaching team and oversee the coordination of their work
* Work with pupils with SEMH and medical needs, utilizing proven classroom ability and practice
* Develop and implement strategies for supporting an ethos of positive behaviour management
* Collaborate with the school leadership team to ensure the effective inclusion of all pupils
### Requirements
* Experience of leading in a primary school on SEN and Inclusion
* Proven ability to work with pupils with SEMH and medical needs
* Strong understanding of assessment and its role in supporting learning for SEN pupils
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
